The combination heater/air conditioner controls and directs air flow by open ing and closing a series of doors. 
The blend-air door controls the tempera- ture of the air  del ivered to  the  interior  of  the car by blending  
heated air with unheated a ir. The blend-air door position is control led by  a  cable con nected to the 
 temperature control lever on the instru ment panel. Al I of the other doors, as well as the water flow valve, are

 vacuu in operated.
